  Good afternoon Parents, Can you believe we are already down two weeks of Term 2? I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed some time to relax in the beautiful sunshine.  Just a few pieces of information for the upcoming fortnight... Homework On Monday we will be sending home the Year Two fluency grid with this fortnights focus sounds and tricky words. Have a look at our blog post titled 'Week 4 Information' which shows you how you can use this at home to increase your child's reading fluency. We have also included all of the spelling lists for your information on the back of the fluency grid. The pink list 💓 is the target for Year Two from our InitiaLit program.  Dear Parents, I hope you had a wonderful holidays and a Happy Easter. I cannot wait to hear about all of the children's adventures of camping, travels and fun in the sun🌞😎 I had a great break that was full of eating yummy food and spending time with family and friends! Wadandi Totems  🌨💧🍂🍁 We are now in the season of Djeran - This is when the weather starts to get cooler and the leaves turn orange and fall off the trees.We are very lucky that Josh Whiteland from Koomal Dreaming has approved every classroom with a native flora and fauna and their traditional Noongar name. Over the coming weeks, we will be spending some time learning about the significance of these. Term 1 - Week 3 & 4 😁

Good afternoon  parents, Wow! What an absolutely busy yet fun first full week we have had in the Year Two team since swimming lessons have finished and we are into full days of learning.  Can you believe it is already week 3? I am so proud of how much focus and persistence with a positive attitude our Year Two team are showing when learning new things. In just a few weeks we are already growing our confidence to problem solve and continuing to build our independence to complete our work, try out new things and even suggest and share our own ideas and other ways we can show what we know and have learnt.    Thank you to all who have made the time to read through the parent information slides posted last week and read through the other information in the previous posts. I hope it was a great way to find out the 'nitty gritty' of  Year Two learning and life in our class. Please feel free to refer back to the previous blog post for a link to the slides presented and feel free to ema
